100% Design London
For the third year the Czech Republic is due to take part in the prestigious 100% Design London design show, traditionally held at Earls Court in London, which focuses on design, interior accessories, furniture, fixtures and fittings and architectural materials.

100% Design is held in different cities around the world, including Tokyo, Shanghai, Milan and New York. The world`s top design companies exhibit at the event and so considerable emphasis is placed on the visual side of presentation. The same goes for the Czech Republic`s stand, designed last year by the Olgoj - Chorchoj design and architecture studio. The visual conception, prepared by the Marvill studio, also formed an integral part of the stand. The overall Czech exhibition was then fronted by the company EXPO, IGC Group, s.r.o.
Every year 100% Design London attracts some fifteen hundred journalists and thousands of industry professionals and members of the public. The Czech exhibitors will be exhibiting together as "The Czech Selection", once again under the auspices of the Czech Ministry of Trade and Industry. "The Czech Selection" stand has attracted considerable interest in past years and the name is now automatically associated with a colourful range of Czech designs. “The Czech Selection” presents the strength and artistic potential of Czech and international designers working in conjunction with traditional Czech manufacturers. Last year the Czech stand attracted over 4000 people, either interested in the products displayed or looking to establish business ties. Discussions were held with over one hundred representatives from trade, distribution and cultural institutions.
