The Czech Olympic Committee proved itself to be no shrinking violet in the ticketing negotiations and did everything in its powers to win the highest possible ticket allocation for Czech Olympics fans. As a result the CzechRepublichas been allocated roughly three times as many tickets as at Beijing, where the total ticket allocation was nine thousand.
